NFTs are back on our radar for the first time since Stonkbroker launched, and it’s happening on Robinhood. In this one we break down the wave of NFT experiments that all launched within days of each other, and why we think Stonkbrokers lit the fuse that brought the OG builders out of hibernation.
We start with Nightshades, the Meebits comeback built on Stonk Launcher: four competing factions, each with its own NFT collection and token, a 99 percent anti-snipe tax that feeds ETH back into the game, and a nightly Chainlink VRF roll that decides which factions take damage. All four tokens bonded with nearly $500K in volume and a combined $1.2M market cap out of the gate.
From there we get into the new batch of NFT projects everyone should have on the radar. Rare Friends is the Doodles co-founder’s fully on-chain experiment, with artwork, payouts, and even animations rendered in Solidity, launching through a continuous clearing auction that was already implying a $13M market cap. Standard Reserve is the new OHM-flavored reserve asset that raised $1.5M and immediately showed $15M in liquidity, and we walk through where that number actually comes from and the caveat hiding in the hook logic. Yield Fields is a land deed farming game from the team behind one of Abstract’s biggest games, and Hashcats brings back proof-of-work nostalgia with NFTs you mine from your browser instead of buying.
The thread connecting all of it is that these aren’t anonymous forks chasing a trend. Meebits, a Doodles co-founder, and proven game builders are all choosing Robinhood at the same time, and each one is recycling fees into a flywheel instead of extracting them. That tells us the chain has become the place where NFT natives think the next real experiment gets rewarded, and the speed at which the market is absorbing these launches backs that up.
Where we land is that NFTs, not tokens, are the more likely vehicle to pull mainstream users into this cycle. A launchpad coin can run to a billion, but a character you keep alive, a plot of land you farm, or a cat you mined yourself is an experience people actually understand. If these experiments start plugging real-world assets and commodities into that gameplay, the RWA meta and the NFT meta stop being separate stories, and that intersection is the thing we’d be watching most closely from here.
