In this video I will going through a strategy that was inspired by Joel on Crypto. His strategy involves 2 indicators including the EMA set on 50 and a second on 200. The second indicator is the MACD set to a lower timeframe.
Is this the best way of investing money in to crypto?
When coding the crypto scalping trading strategy for the 5 min timeframe I found my settings to be better on a 15 minutes and an R:R of 1.5% to a stoploss of 1.7% Joel uses R:R where I take the profit at 0.5% and have the stop loss at 0.4% and using a 50x leverage. I perfer to be a little more conservative and use 25x leverage.
In order for this strategy to be successful, you need to have a win rate above 66% and I managed to code a 78% Win rate on these settings and when I tested it 100 times.
