Blockchain synchronisation, new transaction types, and more
Following the launch of Crypto.com Tax for users in the U.S. and Canada, we’re excited to introduce new features that make it easier to file crypto taxes at no cost.
More Ways to Import Transaction Data
Users can now import transaction data directly from the Ethereum and Bitcoin blockchains simply by inputting the public address/key for their BTC, ETH, and ERC20 tokens. They can still use API synchronisation or upload CSV files exported from major wallets/exchanges.
View Additional Transaction Types
Users can now add Swap and Cost types of transaction to their tax reports. These include token migrations, and unsuccessful transactions that incurred gas fees, respectively.
Crypto.com Tax is currently available to U.S. and Canada users. We worked with professional tax advisers from these markets to ensure the calculation logic is consistent with the available guidance and laws for filing crypto taxes. This service will be rolled out to more jurisdictions soon.
