DOVU, the crypto powered rewards platform for travel, has announced that it will be hosting an event to discuss its upcoming Security Token Offering (STO) with Jaguar Land Rover’s (JLR) investment arm, InMotion Ventures, and global investment platform TokenMarket.
DOVU recently announced that it would be holding a STO in 2019 alongside TokenMarket, who had been accepted into the Financial Conduct Authority’s (FCA) Regulatory Sandbox in July 2018. The event, which is set to take place on Thursday 28th February 2019 , will see a number of attendees come together to learn more about the work DOVU has carried out, what its plans for the future are and why they are choosing to offer equity in their business to investors via a STO. Taking place at the InMotion Ventures office in West London, there is already a confirmed number of high calibre guest speakers and panels that will be taking place.
DOVU’s CEO and Founder, Irfon Watkins, will be discussing why the business is choosing to host a STO. After a successful ICO in October 2017, DOVU has chosen to give “public and private investors alike the opportunity to purchase equity in [the] growing business.” Here, attendees will be able to ask Irfon questions about why they have chosen to host a STO, what benefits they can expect from the investment and what this means for DOVU as a business.
Lars Klawitter, InMotion Ventures Executive Director of Strategic Business, will be giving a presentation on why JLR has chosen to invest in DOVU’s groundbreaking technology. It will provide a great level of insight into the decision behind JLR investing in DOVU, highlighting the processes and giving an explanation as to how the decision was made.
TokenMarket’s Managing Director, Ryan Hanley, will also be delivering a presentation on tokenised equity. As something of a mystery to some people, Ryan’s expertise in the field of ICOs and STOs, as well as his overall business experience and acumen, will highlight why tokenising equity is the next big thing in the fintech space.
There will be time for likeminded individuals from across the worlds of blockchain, technology, travel and investment to network after all presentations, with DOVU providing free drinks throughout the event.
