We have been circling Stonkbrokers for weeks, so we finally brought the person behind it on the show. SimpleFarmer joined us for his first appearance on the Block Runner podcast to walk through how a project on Robinhood Chain went from almost nothing to a five figure floor, and why we think the breakthrough underneath it is bigger than the price action everyone is watching.
We come from the NFT world going back to 2019, so we have watched collection after collection with incredible communities stall out because they were impossible to trade. Simple Farmer frames it perfectly. These teams were driving a Ferrari with bicycle wheels. The talent and the culture were there, but the infrastructure never was. His answer is the Anvil AMM, a permissionless contract that pairs an NFT to a clean ERC20 at a fixed rate so a collection can finally have real liquidity.
From there the conversation opens up. He explains how the Stonkbroker NFT and token are really one asset, how activating a broker burns supply and turns a flywheel into an engine, and how the clock-in mechanic lets holders swap accrued fees into real Robinhood Chain stock tokens like NVIDIA. We get into the special projects model, which borrows from what virtuals did on Base, where partners pair their liquidity to the Stonkbroker token and route a slice of revenue back to activated holders.
Some of the most interesting ground is the Broker Box, where you can wrap a real share into an NFT and send it to someone through an email link, and the plan to bridge Robinhood Chain stock tokens across Ethereum, Solana and Ape Chain as fully composable assets. He also makes a sharp case for why custom token taxes and mint functions quietly cap a project’s ceiling, and why he pushes builders to keep the core asset clean and wrap the clever parts around it instead.
We close on the bigger picture. Simple Farmer sees DeFi as the next step in how humans coordinate money, and he is candid about why the market keeps rewarding gambling over building. His read is that this is a leadership problem more than a user problem. When chains and media push vaporware to the top, people learn to gamble. When they push real technology to the top, liquidity follows it.
That is the thread we keep pulling on this channel. The projects that last are rarely the loudest ones. They are the ones solving an infrastructure problem so quietly that most people only notice the chart. What Robinhood Chain is really testing is whether an ecosystem can reward merit long enough for the good version of crypto to win, and whether the builders showing up this early are the ones still standing once the noise clears.
