On February 5, Ethereum attained a new high of $1,760. Soon after the attainment of the new price level, Ether was compelled to a sideways move below the recent high.

Following the three unsuccessful attempts to break the resistance at $1,440, Ethereum (ETH)  is consolidating above $1,300.

For the past 48 hours, Ethereum has been retracing after retesting the $1400 resistance zone. The current retracement will persist until it reaches a low of $1,240.

Presently, Ethereum bulls are attempting to break the $1,150 resistance. A breakout at the resistance will propel the crypto to resume the upside momentum.

Ethereum has been in a downward move for the past two days. Today, the crypto has fallen to the support above $1,020.

Today, following the recent rally to $1,225 high, Ethereum has been retracing on a downward move. Ether retraced to $1,154 support and resumed upward.

Since November 23, Ethereum bulls have been struggling to break the $620 overhead resistance. Presently, the upward move has been restricted to the range-bound zone of $560 and $620.

Ethereum bulls have been able to sustain the recent rallies above $450 since November 7. However, the bulls have not been able to break the $480 resistance convincingly.
