Unified Command officials gave an update Sunday on last week’s deadly plane and helicopter crash in Washington D.C and the ongoing recovery operations. In total, 55 victims have been recovered from the Potomac River and identified. Salvage crews are set to begin removing wreckage of the American Airlines jetliner on Monday. That plane collided with an Army helicopter, plunging both aircraft into the river, killing 67 people. The NTSB is leading the investigation.
President Donald Trump signed an order to impost stiff tariffs on imports from Canada, China & Mexico. Trump posted on social media stating, ‘the tariffs were necessary to protect Americans.’
Trump pressed the three nations to do more to curb the manufacture and export of illicit fentanyl and for Mexico and Canada to reduce illegal migrants from entering into the U.S.

Tom Dunkel the president of the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club, tells AP News, “there are two types of people who make the trek to Gobbler’s Knob: the faithful seeking to validate their beliefs and the doubters who want to confirm their skepticism.”
