The first XDC Pulse edition of the year sets a strong tone for 2026, highlighting continued progress across institutional adoption, infrastructure maturity, and real-world blockchain use cases on the XDC Network. A key institutional milestone this month was the successful integration of the XDC Network by Zand, the UAE’s AI-powered bank for the digital economy. Through this collaboration, corporate and institutional clients can access blockchain-powered payments and digital asset custody on XDC infrastructure, supporting practical use cases that bridge traditional finance and decentralized finance. Designed with enterprise requirements in mind, this integration demonstrates how XDC continues to align blockchain functionality with regulated financial environments.

The impact of this integration extends further into commodity markets through ComTech Gold, enabling greater transparency, efficiency, and programmability in gold trading. Built to support institutional workflows, transactions on the XDC Network are designed to align with ISO 20022 standards, reinforcing interoperability and future-proof infrastructure for financial institutions operating at scale.

January also marked an important moment for XDC’s visibility within traditional financial markets in the United States, with asset manager Teucrium filing for a leveraged XDC ETF. While the filing remains part of an ongoing regulatory review process, it represents an additional step in expanding awareness of XDC within established financial market frameworks.

Market access continued to broaden as XDC secured new exchange support. AEON announced support for XDC, strengthening accessibility across Asia and making it easier for users to engage with the asset through its platform. HashKey Exchange also listed XDC, further extending availability through a regulated exchange environment and supporting participation from both retail and institutional users.

The ecosystem itself continued to mature with SafeLabs integrating with the XDC Network, introducing multisig wallet infrastructure that enhances security, tooling, and operational controls for builders and teams. This integration strengthens the network’s overall security posture and supports more sophisticated asset management workflows within the ecosystem.

At the same time, Monolythic announced a strategic partnership with the XDC Network focused on accelerating the digital transformation of capital markets. The collaboration aims to support institutional asset tokenization, cross-border market access, and the expansion of real-world asset and liquidity frameworks on XDC’s enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure.

Institutional-grade infrastructure was further reinforced with XDC gaining support from Anchorage Digital, enabling secure custody for XDC through one of the industry’s trusted digital asset custodians. This addition strengthens XDC Network’s focus on security, compliance, and readiness for institutional participation.

Beyond infrastructure and integrations, the XDC Network maintained a strong global presence throughout the month. Broadcasting from the New York Stock Exchange, Atul Khekade, Co-Founder of XDC Network, joined Fintech TV Global to discuss the convergence of traditional finance and decentralized finance, touching on trade finance, tokenization, and the importance of ISO-compliant blockchain infrastructure in driving real adoption.

The network also engaged across multiple global events. In London, the XDC team participated in the Impact Finance and Blockchain Forum, connecting with leaders focused on sustainable finance and real-world blockchain adoption. XDC Payments represented the ecosystem at the Money20/20 Philippines Summit, strengthening on-the-ground presence in the region and engaging with fintech innovators, payment providers, and strategic partners shaping the future of digital payments across Southeast Asia.

Wrapping up the month, the RazeOnXDC Go-Live Side Event in Miami marked the mainnet launch of RazeOnXDC, a project from the XDC Real-World Asset Accelerator powered by Plug and Play. The event brought together the XDC Foundation, Plug and Play, and institutional stakeholders to showcase regulated, on-chain yield infrastructure built on the XDC Network, highlighting the growing role of compliant real-world asset solutions within the ecosystem.

Looking ahead to February, the XDC team will continue its global engagement at several key events, including the Fund Finance Symposium in the United States, Bitcoin Investor Week 2026, GTR Dubai 2026, the Emergence Investment Conference in Australia, and the RWA and Stablecoin London Summit 2026. These engagements reflect XDC Network’s ongoing commitment to building relationships across finance, trade, and digital asset markets worldwide.

As the first XDC Pulse edition of 2026 concludes, January stands out as a strong start to the year, marked by institutional integrations, ecosystem growth, and expanding global presence. With solid foundations in place across infrastructure, markets, and real-world adoption, the XDC Network enters the year ahead with continued momentum and a clear focus on delivering enterprise-grade blockchain solutions.
