XDC Pulse — August 2025 | Monthly XDC Updates

August 2025 marked a transformative moment for the XDC Network, delivering one of the most impactful months in the ecosystem’s journey to date. From major developments in real-world asset tokenization to breakthrough infrastructure announcements, global community expansion, and enhanced institutional adoption, the momentum has never been stronger. This edition of XDC Pulse captures the key highlights, showcasing how the network continues to scale across sectors and regions.

The headline announcement this month is that USDC and Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) V2 are officially coming to the XDC Network. This is a pivotal leap forward for the ecosystem, enabling fast, stable, and regulated dollar-backed transactions on-chain. With USDC, XDC gains a fully reserved digital dollar redeemable 1:1 for U.S. dollars, empowering use cases across global trade finance, DeFi, and enterprise payments. Developers will be able to seamlessly integrate USDC into applications, while institutions will benefit from Circle Mint’s on/off-ramp capabilities. With CCTP V2, users can move USDC between XDC and other supported blockchains with 1:1 capital efficiency, enabling smooth cross-chain onboarding, swaps, purchases, and treasury management. Together, these capabilities set the foundation for frictionless financial activity and establish XDC as a key player in the next phase of digital asset infrastructure.

In parallel, VERT Capital made waves by announcing plans to tokenize $1 billion worth of corporate debt, agribusiness receivables, and credit products on the XDC Network. This represents one of the largest RWA tokenization initiatives ever committed to a blockchain platform and positions XDC as a serious settlement layer for institutional markets. Further solidifying this narrative, Archax, VerseProp, Spitfire, and Daizun Investment Limited successfully completed a regulated, tokenized real estate financing deal on the XDC Network, another major milestone in bringing institutional-grade tokenization to life.

XDC’s growth wasn’t just headline-deep — metrics show rising network adoption and increasing builder engagement. The number of unique wallet addresses surged by 36.7% over the past six months, jumping from 1.13 million in February to over 1.55 million in August. EO Oracle Feeds went live, bringing RWA-focused data streams to decentralized applications, while the Gam3s.gg integration enabled fast, low-cost gaming transactions and simplified developer migration. The ecosystem also saw the launch of the AI-Powered Developer Bootcamp, a community-led initiative that provided hands-on training in AI-powered UI design, DeFi automation, and stablecoin integrations.

Institutional access to the XDC Network reached a new level with the launch of the 21Shares XDCN ETP on the SIX Swiss Exchange. This listing gives wealth managers and institutional investors across Europe fully regulated and transparent exposure to the XDC token, bridging traditional finance with blockchain infrastructure. Following the July launch of the XDC ETP on Euronext, the new listing on SIX strengthens the network’s standing in compliant financial environments and further widens its global accessibility.

On the global front, the XDC Network had a commanding presence at key blockchain events. The month began in Brazil at Blockchain Rio 2025, where the team engaged with Latin America’s largest Web3 audience. This was followed by two major appearances in Vietnam — Conviction 2025 and ETH Vietnam — where XDC deepened its connections with Southeast Asia’s developer and DeFi communities. Later in August, the team returned to WebX 2025 in Japan as a Gold Sponsor, reinforcing its commitment to the region. A special community gathering co-hosted with SBI VC Trade and SBI XDC marked XDC’s first fan event in Japan, bringing together local users, builders, and partners for a night of connection and vision sharing. Stateside, XDC Co-founder Ritesh Kakkad visited the New York Stock Exchange and recorded a special episode with FintechTV Global, discussing tokenization, stablecoins, and roadmap updates. He also joined Crypto Mondays in New York to share thoughts on adoption trends with a global audience. The month closed with XDC’s presence at the Zurich Summit and Hamptons GPP, continuing to strengthen relationships in key innovation hubs.

Looking ahead, the XDC Network’s global journey continues into September with major stops in Saudi Arabia, Australia, the United States, South Korea, and Germany. These include participation in the Saudi Business and Investment Summit, ACITI’s Australia event, Boston Blockchain Week, Korea Blockchain Week (including a co-hosted side event with D’Cent Wallet), and Sibos 2025 in Frankfurt — one of the world’s leading financial services conferences.
