Celebrating Seven Years of Mainnet, Institutional Growth, and Continued Global Expansion.

Asia

June 2026 marked an important milestone for the XDC Network as the ecosystem celebrated seven years since the launch of XDC Mainnet. Over the past seven years, the network has evolved into enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure supporting more than US$1 billion in tokenized real-world assets, while continuing to drive innovation across trade finance, payments, tokenization, and decentralized finance.

The month also delivered another wave of institutional growth, ecosystem expansion, and global engagement, further reinforcing XDC’s position as the blockchain built for real-world finance.

Institutional participation accelerated significantly throughout June with the addition of 11 new institutional validators to the XDC Network. CertiK, SettleMint, BCW Group, RedStone, Credora, StakeFi, Ubyx, Blueprint Infrastructure, Hivemind Digital Group, Investax, and IXS Finance joined the validator ecosystem, strengthening network security, decentralization, and enterprise-grade infrastructure. The continued growth of the validator ecosystem reflects increasing institutional confidence in XDC as infrastructure for tokenization, digital assets, and global trade.

Institutional capabilities also continued to mature beyond network validation. Dfns introduced native staking support for XDC, enabling institutions to securely stake assets while maintaining full custody, governance controls, and operational oversight. The integration allows organizations already using Dfns’ enterprise wallet platform to incorporate staking into their existing digital asset workflows without compromising security or compliance.

The DeFi ecosystem continued building momentum throughout June with several major protocol launches. Teller went live on XDC, introducing XDC-backed lending without margin calls while allowing users to access stablecoin liquidity or earn yield through USDC lending.

The ecosystem expanded further with the launch of Clearpool on XDC, giving institutions direct access to decentralized credit markets and strengthening the connection between institutional finance and DeFi. Morpho also became available through Oku, allowing users to borrow against XDC and wsrUSD while earning USDC yield, further expanding lending and liquidity opportunities across the network.

Beyond DeFi, XDC continued investing in long-term blockchain innovation. SBI XDC announced a joint research initiative with the University of Tsukuba to explore key blockchain technologies, including smart contracts, token design, and on-chain and off-chain integration. The collaboration highlights XDC’s ongoing commitment to advancing enterprise blockchain research through partnerships between industry and academia.

Practical ecosystem utility also continued to grow. PAYGO joined the XDC ecosystem to develop x402-powered payment infrastructure for APIs, AI agents, and machine-to-machine commerce, supporting the evolution of agentic payments and HTTP-native settlement.

Accessibility for users also improved during the month through Alchemy Pay’s zero ramp fee campaign, providing easier access to both XDC and USDC on XDC Chain. Meanwhile, RocketX expanded interoperability by enabling users to privately swap and bridge assets into the XDC Network, offering greater flexibility while enhancing user privacy.

June also showcased XDC’s growing international presence, with the team participating in major industry events across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. The month began with Money20/20 Europe in Amsterdam and The Future of Commodity Trade Finance event in Geneva, where discussions centered on institutional payments, tokenization, and the future of digital trade.

Global engagement continued in New York during ETHConference, where XDC hosted a series of ecosystem side events bringing together founders, builders, investors, and institutions to discuss real-world asset adoption, blockchain infrastructure, and the future of finance.

The team also participated in GTR UK in London and the Australian Digital Economy Conference in Sydney, contributing to conversations around digital trade, enterprise blockchain adoption, and tokenization across global financial markets. June concluded with a joint side event alongside Deutsche Telekom during Berlin Blockchain Week, followed by Philippine Blockchain Week, where the XDC team engaged with developers, enterprises, regulators, and the broader Web3 community.

Looking ahead to July, the XDC ecosystem will continue expanding through several major initiatives and industry engagements. The first week of the month will see the soft launch of XDC’s Agentic AI initiative for partners and a select group of early participants, followed by the Agentic Finance event at the XDC New York office featuring XDC Co-Founder Atul Khekade.

This month will also include the XDC Network UK Inaugural Event in London, celebrating the official opening of XDC’s new UK office, alongside participation at WebX 2026 in Tokyo and the Blockchain Futurist Conference 2026 in Toronto.

As the XDC ecosystem continues to grow across institutional finance, decentralized finance, AI, tokenization, and enterprise blockchain adoption, June once again demonstrated the network’s continued progress toward building the future of global finance.
